We are currently seeking a Family Physician to join our Family Health Organization (FHO). Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced physician, we offer the flexibility to build a practice that aligns with your interests and career goals.

With a significant number of unattached patients available through Health Care Connect, you will have the opportunity to quickly establish a comprehensive patient roster while helping address an important community need. Supervision and mentorship are available for eligible candidates.

Our FHO operates under a Blended Capitation model, with financial incentives available for eligible physicians practicing full-time. We use TELUS Practice Solutions (PS Suite) EMR and operate in a bright and spacious clinic in Pembroke, with an additional satellite location serving a rural community.

Hospital privileges are available, but not mandatory. Physicians also have opportunities to diversify their practice through:

• Emergency Department shifts

• Hospitalist medicine

• Surgical Assist

• Obstetrics

• Chemotherapy Call

• Long-term Care

• Monthly Memory Clinic

Our FHO is affiliated with the West Champlain Family Health Team, providing access to an experienced interdisciplinary team that includes nurse practitioners, registered nurses, counsellors, a registered dietitian, respiratory therapist. Together, we provide comprehensive, team-based care with strong support for chronic disease management, disease prevention, health promotion, and patient education.

Located in Pembroke, Ontario, less than 90 minutes from Ottawa, our community offers an exceptional quality of life.
