About Us

Bay College Medical and Lockwood Diagnostics is a large, multidisciplinary medical practice occupying approximately 25,000 square feet in the heart of downtown Toronto. Our clinic brings together a broad range of medical and allied health services under one roof, including family medicine, specialist care, pharmacy, physiotherapy, diagnostic imaging (X-ray and ultrasound), optometry, dental, and nuclear cardiology.

We are located directly across from College Subway Station, within walking distance of Toronto's Hospital Row, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), and the University of Toronto (U of T) — placing our physicians at the center of one of the city's most connected healthcare and academic corridors.

Our onsite specialist team includes, but is not limited to, cardiologists, internists, ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialists, gastroenterologists, and gynecologists, supported by onsite X-ray, ultrasound, and blood laboratory services — enabling fast, coordinated, and comprehensive patient care.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Walk-in Clinic Physician to join our busy downtown location. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, high-volume walk-in experience, and the convenience of practicing alongside a wide network of specialists and diagnostic services all within the same building.

Key Responsibilities

•     Provide walk-in medical care to a diverse patient population in a high-traffic downtown clinic.

•     Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and episodic conditions.

•     Refer patients to onsite specialists and diagnostic services (X-ray, ultrasound, blood lab) as clinically appropriate.

•     Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the clinic's electronic medical record (EMR) system.

•     Collaborate with onsite specialists, allied health providers, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

•     Uphold the clinic's standards of patient safety, professionalism, and quality of care.

Qualifications

•     MD with current, unrestricted licensure to practice family or general medicine in Ontario (CPSO registration in good standing).

•     Eligible for or holding a valid billing number with the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).

•     Current CPSO membership and professional liability protection (e.g., CMPA).

•     Walk-in or family medicine experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

•     Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach to care.

•     Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Monday through Saturday

Compensation: fee for service split.

Start Date: immediately
