Job Description
Bingham Memorial Hospital is a 37-bed general hospital. A 24-hour ER cares for an average of 10-15 patients per day. This hospital is also linked to Virtual Critical Care Program. The Medical Clinic is located on the lower level of the hospital, which is convenient since family physicians also provide hospital on-call (Hospital On-Call Agreement), and share the emerg on-call (Alternate Funding Agreement)

Remuneration for primary care component:
Reap the rewards of a Blended Capitation Model! Matheson's primary care physicians belong to a FHO (Family Health Organization), which offers ample opportunity to easily grow your perfect practice with excellent compensation. To help you get started, the FHO also offers an income stabilization plan (maximum annual compensation of ~ $221,000) to support physicians while they develop patient rosters, prior to converting to the blended capitation funding model. Physicians in this model can make an average of $300,000 to $450,000 a year (based on a 2,000 patient roster).
Remuneration for ED component:
$3,303.84/shift
10% of Shadow billing
Hosptial on-call stipend
(Average annual income for ten shifts per month including shadow billing and HOCC averages $433,000)
