About the Department

Halton Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time GASTROENTEROLOGIST to join our Department of Medicine and current complement of six gastroenterologists. The successful candidate will be the first gastroenterologist to be primarily based at the Milton District Hospital. This represents an exciting opportunity to help in the development and growth of GI services in Milton.

What We Offer

• Our gastroenterology service provides both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound investigations.

• The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the inpatient consultation service for gastroenterology at the primary site as well as the Internal Medicine on call schedule and the Corporate GI subspecialty call.

What We Are Looking For

• Candidates must have an independent license or be eligible for independent license with the

College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

• Candidates must have Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology with additional fellowship training in therapeutic endoscopy, inclusive of ERCP and/or endoscopic ultrasound.
