Alberta Health Services - Edmonton Rural Corridor and the communities of Hinton and Edson are currently looking to recruit an Internal Medicine Visiting Specialist to work alongside the local physicians and provide services in General Internal Medicine consults and procedures. The ideal candidate will visit these communities approximately 24 times per year (2-3 days each visit, distributed between both communities).

This position will require the selected candidate to sign a Visiting Specialist contract rendering their services.

• Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) or proof of Eligibility for Alberta Licensure required (to be included with application).
• Must be licensed to practice as an Internal Medicine Specialist per CPSA Standards.
• Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Candidate must have hands on experience offering Internal Medicine services within the past 1-2 years. Experience offering these services as the sole provider is required.
