Job Description
Aafiyat Medical Centre is seeking a Gynecologist to join our Rapid Access Specialists (ARAS) program across the Greater Toronto Area. This is a predominantly outpatient, clinic-based gynecology role , ideal for a physician who wants to focus on women's health, procedural gynecology, and longitudinal specialist care, without the demands of an obstetrics call schedule.
You will join a multidisciplinary healthcare ecosystem that includes family physicians, pediatricians, endocrinologists, physiatrists, internal medicine specialists, rehabilitation providers, pharmacy services, diagnostics, and allied health professionals, all under one roof.
This opportunity is built for a specialist who values an established referral network, modern clinic infrastructure, administrative support, and the freedom to build a practice aligned with their clinical interests.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist-level gynecological consultations for patients referred by family physicians
- Diagnose and manage complex or chronic gynecological conditions
- Perform advanced in-office gynecological procedures such as endometrial biopsy, hysteroscopy, and IUD/IUS management for complex cases
- Manage perimenopause and menopause with a focus on individualized hormonal and non-hormonal therapy
- Provide specialist-level contraception counselling for patients with complex medical histories or contraindications
- Conduct gynecologic oncology screening follow-up (e.g., abnormal Pap, HPV-positive cases) and coordinate onward referrals where required
- Offer second opinions and co-management for patients already under primary care, supporting rather than replacing the family physician relationship
- Collaborate closely with Aafiyat's family physicians, endocrinologists, and allied health team through a shared-care model
- Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with CPSO standards
What We Offer
- Established referral network through Aafiyat Medical Centre's active family medicine and specialist base
- Multidisciplinary environment — family medicine, pharmacy, diagnostics, rehabilitation, and allied health services under one roof
- Administrative and billing support — so you can focus on patients, not paperwork
- Modern clinic facilities with EMR integration
- Flexible scheduling — design a practice that works for your lifestyle
- No obstetrics call requirement — this is a clinic-focused gynecology role
- Growth opportunity — join a rapidly expanding healthcare network with locations in Mississauga, Brampton, and Kitchener
Qualifications
- Independent CPSO license or eligibility for independent practice in Ontario
- Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent recognized credentials
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to collaborative, patient-centred care
