The Manotick Medical Centre (15 minutes south from the Ottawa airport), a Family Health Organization is committed to promoting, maintaining and enhancing the quality of life and health of our patients. We are currently a team of 13 family physicians, 1 specialist, a geriatric assessor, 6 nurses and our support staff.

We are seeking a locum(s) for VARIOUS OPPORTUNITIES whether it to be covering for leaves of absence and/or vacation. Should you be looking for a part-time locum opportunity to join our dynamic team of professionals please do read on.

We serve a large patient population, ranging in ages from newborn to the advanced elderly and offer comprehensive family health care. The clinic hours run from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm. We offer a booked after hours clinic Monday through Thursday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Fridays we are open from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm. We also have a walk in clinic on Saturday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm and on Sunday from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.

Hours of work are negotiable there could be some evening on-call coverage.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and family medicine residency.
• Licensed to practice and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
• CCFP Certification from the Canadian College of Family Practice or equivalent general practice experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computer systems.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively, independently and in an inter-disciplinary team.
• Ability to work the occasional evening and weekend on-call.
