Description:

Shared Health Manitoba. (located at 1502 – 155 Carlton Street, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3H8) is seeking applications for a permanent full-time Hematopathologist to fill a labour shortage in Manitoba. The successful candidate will join a hematopathology practice group that provides comprehensive diagnostic services on hematology, lymphoma, transfusion medicine, and immunology to the Province of Manitoba.

Primary duties will include comprehensive hematopathology in support of various local tertiary care programs, and a provincial referral program. Expertise in lymphoma, hemostasis and transfusion medicine is an asset.  All job duties are required in English.                  

    
Candidates will take part in the teaching of postgraduate and undergraduate students and hold an appointment in the University of Manitoba Department of Pathology. 

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a medical degree, certification in Hematological Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.

Shared Health provides a competitive compensation package (salary scale starts at $393.157.22 annually), a benefits plan that includes health & dental and annual vacation of 27 days.
