Job Description

The Division of Gastroenterology at William Osler Health System is seeking a full time Associate to join the Gastroenterology team at Brampton Civic Hospital. The successful applicant will cover the Hepatology consult service and will provide added support for our liver disease population. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.

About the Program

The Gastroenterology division at Osler covers various services from luminal gastroenterology, advanced endoscopy and hepatology. The hepatology service offers fibroscan, paracentesis, and endoscopy to treat patients with various liver diseases such as viral hepatitis, fatty liver and autoimmune liver disease. 

Job Qualifications

The candidates must have a Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario and have a fellowship in Gastroenterology from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada. Post-fellowship advanced training in Hepatology is a requirement. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.

Osler is a primary clinical partner for Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine and is an academic community partner with the University of Toronto’s Temerty Faculty of Medicine and McMaster’s Michael G.
