Career Opportunity in Otolaryngology

The Division of Otolaryngology is seeking a Full Time Associate Otolaryngologist. 

The Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology is looking to recruit a full-time, board-certified general otolaryngologist to be based primarily at BCH site. Resources will include access to hospital facilities including elective OR blocks and OPD time. The selected Otolaryngologist will provide general otolaryngology care primarily for the Brampton site and will have access to hospital facilities including elective OR blocks and OPD time. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.

Accountabilities

Responsibilities will include participation in local and regional on-call coverage and all normal responsibilities associated with being a member of the medical staff of Osler. The preferred candidate will be expected to develop a full spectrum community otolaryngology practice within the catchment area of BCH and to align their practice with institutional strategic goals, including delivery of paediatric otolaryngological surgery.

The Division of Otolaryngology is a collaborative team of 8 Otolaryngologists who provide care in the Brampton / Etobicoke community. Job Qualifications

The candidates must have a Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario and have certification in Otolaryngology from the College of Physicians of Canada or hold Fellowship in Otolaryngology from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada preferred. The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.
