Duties:

• Provide comprehensive adult internal medicine care in an outpatient (and/or hospital-based) setting
• Diagnose and manage complex acute and chronic medical conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, COPD, autoimmune disorders)
• Perform detailed medical assessments and physical examinations
• Order, interpret, and act upon laboratory and diagnostic imaging results
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans
• Coordinate care with family physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals
• Provide consultation services when required
• Prescribe medications and monitor therapeutic responses
• Educate patients on disease prevention, risk factor modification, and long-term management strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in accordance with CPSO standards

Hours of Work:

Full-Time: Minimum 30 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
• Certification in Internal Medicine (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent)
• Independent practice license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Strong clinical expertise in managing complex adult medical conditions
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Estimated annual earnings: $300,000 – $550,000+ (based on volume and scope of practice)
