Virtual Family Physician – Mental Health Assessments & Medication Management (Online-Only, Ontario)

Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Family Physician registered in Ontario to join our growing virtual mental health clinic. This is a fully online role focused on conducting mental health assessments, providing consultations, and supporting patients with medication management for concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric presentations.

This position offers exceptional flexibility and very low overhead, with a busy and established referral stream. Physicians may choose to focus exclusively on mental health consultations and assessments, or also prescribe and manage medications as part of ongoing care. There is also the option to host your existing virtual practice within our infrastructure.

Our clinic provides administrative support, patient flow, and clinical infrastructure, allowing you to focus entirely on clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual mental health assessments and diagnostic consultations
• Evaluate and diagnose common psychiatric and mental health conditions in adults and adolescents
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications where appropriate, including initiating, adjusting, and monitoring treatment
• Provide follow-up consultations to monitor treatment response and outcomes
• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and other mental health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using our secure electronic medical record system
• Provide clinical recommendations, treatment plans, and patient education as needed

Requirements

• Licensed Family Physician in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Eligible to provide virtual care in Ontario
• Experience or interest in mental health assessment and psychiatric medication management
• Comfortable providing care in a virtual setting
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach
