Duties:

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents
• Perform well-child visits, developmental assessments, and growth monitoring
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions (e.g., asthma, ADHD, infections, diabetes)
• Administer and counsel on routine childhood immunizations in accordance with provincial guidelines
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide parental guidance on nutrition, development, behavioural concerns, and preventive care
• Collaborate with family physicians, specialists, schools, and allied health professionals
• Provide consultation services as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in accordance with CPSO standards

Hours of Work:

Full-Time: Minimum 30 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
• Certification in Pediatrics (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent)
• Independent practice license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Strong clinical expertise in pediatric medicine
• Commitment to evidence-based, family-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment

Estimated annual earnings: $250,000 – $450,000+ (based on volume and scope of practice)
