Contract position; may be eligible for the Pediatric Medical Genetics Recruitment and Retention Incentive of up to $200,000.

Competitive remuneration via an Alternate Payment Plan (APP); physicians are independent contractors with opportunity for incorporation benefits; contract-based payment. Eligible for Emergency Medicine Recruitment and Retention Incentive (up to $200,000) and a $30,000 resident bursary for eligible residents.

Academic Clinical Funding Plan (ACFP) contract with competitive remuneration; on-call remuneration as per the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program (SECP).

Alternative Payment Arrangement (Group Contract for emergency shifts); eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement incentives — Retention Premium 24.5% and Retention Flat Fee $37,968.

The average gross income of a Family Medicine Physician in Alberta is $380,522. Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends.
