Job Description
Position Type: Locum Family Physician
Term: June 1 to July 31
Practice Details
- Established Family Health Organization (FHO) practice
- Approximately 1,100 rostered patients and 100 unrostered patients
- The practice serves a predominantly Filipino patient population
- Well-supported clinic with experienced administrative staff
- No overhead costs
Clinical Commitment
- 6 half-days per week (minimum)
- Thursdays evening block (5-8 pm) required
- Each half-day = 3-hour block
- Comprehensive primary care
- Inbox coverage
Compensation
- FHO + hourly billing model ($80 per hour billed to OHIP)
- Guaranteed daily minimum per 3-hour block ($550)
- Shadow billings paid to locum
- Third-party billings paid to locum
Clinic Support
- Full medical administrative support, including:
- Vaccinations
- Vital signs
- Well baby measurements
- Efficient clinic workflows
- Free on-site parking
Candidate Requirements
- CPSO license in good standing
- Eligible to work and bill in Ontario
- New grads welcome
