Locum Physician – 2 Days/Week

Bluewater Area Family Health Team, Zurich ON

We are recruiting a Family Physician to provide locum coverage for a well-managed practice at our clinic in Zurich. The position is available due to physician retirement and offers a smooth transition with plenty of support along the way.

This role is for two days a week, with flexibility around which days work best. Each clinic day includes two paid hours for documentation and follow-up, so there’s no pressure to squeeze everything into patient time.

Our team includes nurse practitioners, nurses, medical office assistants, and administrative staff who are familiar with the patients and workflows. The practice is organized and stable, making the work both manageable and rewarding.

What the role involves:

• Providing primary care to rostered patients
• Charting and follow-up (with paid admin time built in)
• Working alongside a supportive, team-based group
• Reviewing labs and results as needed
