Responsibilities

• Daily rounds on General Medicine patients
• Rounds on ALC & CCC patients
• 24-hour call coverage for admitted patients during your rotation
• Overnight LTC call coverage 2000–0700 (infrequent)

Clinical Scope

Provide comprehensive care across a diverse Nursing Care Unit:

• 25 Acute (General Medicine) beds - daily rounding
• 6 ALC (Allternate Levels of Care) beds - 2x/week rounding
• 19 CCC (Complex Continuing Care) beds - 1x/month rounding
• 1 hospice suite

Interdisciplinary support

You'll work alongside an experienced team of:

• charge nurse
• RNs
• RPNs
• PSWs
• Dietitian
• Discharge planner
• Social worker
• Pharmacist
• Respiratory therapist
• Physiotherapist

Compensation

$1,000 daily stipend available:

• $595.05 - HOCC
• $254.95 - Hospital funded Daily stipend
• $150.00 - Temporary incentive top up

+All OHIP billings (traditionally between $1000-$1300) per day)
