The division of general surgery at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre is seeking a full time surgeon to join our diverse and dynamic group. We are looking for someone who would have a general surgery practice including breast surgery. Our current group consists of 11 General Surgeons (9 full time equivalents) who work in a vibrant and collegial hospital setting with an attached regional cancer centre and closed ICU. The successful candidate must be a RCPSC certified General Surgeon, licensed to practice in Ontario. Operating Room, Endoscopy and Minor Procedures time is shared equally among the group. Opportunities for teaching and research are available to the successful candidate.

RVH is a 462 bed hospital. It includes the Simcoe-Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre and offers access to surgical services, interventional radiology, critical care, interventional cardiology, mental health, rehabilitation services and women’s and children’s programs.
