External candidates are expected to initiate a Fee-for-Service (FFS) practice in Regina.

Fee-for-Service (physician will establish a fee-for-service practice); on-call premium provided

Independent fee-for-service; eligible for an on-call retainer through the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program; relocation package of $25,000 for new Ophthalmologists with a three-year return-of-service.

Fee-for-Service. Specialist Recruitment Incentive: $30,000 for eligible specialists who establish practice for minimum 36 months; Saskatchewan Medical Association (SMA) Retention Fund: approximately $7,000–$14,000 per year for full-time physicians.

Fee-for-Service; low overhead (~20%); competitive billing split; signing bonus (generous); first three months no base overhead; schedule flexibility.

Estimated yearly remuneration: $300,000+ (fee-for-service and sessional payments). MSP premium 23.10% plus $35,798.40 annual flat bonus. MOCAP Level 2 for on-call. $20,000 signing bonus. Relocation funding $9,000–$15,000 (up to $15,000 if relocating from outside Canada; $12,000 if from within Canada but outside BC; $9,000 if within BC). REAP, RCME (and RSA) funding available.
