Fee for service

This position is a Fee for Service position. There may be an opportunity to obtain a position on site with an agreed upon negotiated on-site contract. There is an agreement in place for specialist on call stipend for Obstetrical call service.

Fee for service The Practitioner is responsible for purchasing health and insurance benefits.

Fee for Service On Call Stipend - Physicians are remunerated for being on call. Multiple Alberta Medical Association (AMA) Compensation Programs, including the Rural Remote Northern Program (RRNP), which provides a variable fee premium for Slave Lake of 18.94%. $350,000.00 - $507,466.00 (Contract, paid monthly). Non-repayable Return for Service stipend available with completion of a three-year contract. Relocation stipend available.

Independent fee-for-service (contract). Listed potential salary: $702,972.00. Eligible for on-call retainer per Specialist Emergency Coverage Program. Targeted Surgical Specialty Recruitment and Retention Incentive: $200,000 over five years (Year 1: $40,000; Year 2: $40,000; Year 3: $20,000; Year 4: $50,000; Year 5: $50,000) for eligible full-time ENTs in Regina.

Independent full-time fee-for-service (FFS) contract. Eligible for on-call retainer consistent with the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program. Targeted Surgical Specialty Recruitment and Retention Incentive: $200,000 over five years for Urology or ENT (Year 1: $40,000 after 12 months; Year 2: $40,000 after 24 months; Year 3: $20,000 after 36 months; Year 4: $50,000 after 48 months; Year 5: $50,000 after 60 months). Eligibility requires full-time on-site practice in Regina, physicians new to Saskatchewan, ≥220 days of service, and other conditions; locum service does not qualify.

Daily rate $2,900; Saskatchewan Health Authority will cover flights, car rental, and temporary accommodations. Method of payment: Contract.

Contract; successful candidates may be eligible for the Targeted Pediatric Subspecialty Recruitment and Retention Incentive of up to $200,000.
