Description:

Section of Urogynecology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Alberta Health Services (AHS) Calgary Zone, and the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary are actively recruiting for an academic Urogynecologist. Expectations of this position include consultation, medical and surgical care of people with pelvic floor issues, as well as acute care coverage of Urogynecology patients. The position will be given a partial allocation of Gynecologic call to provide relief to General Gynecology at FMC, as well as a commensurate amount of Operating Room days at the FMC with right to pick up additional days if they come available. The individual will be expected to have an on-site academic clinic (PFC within WHAC), providing consultation and on-going care. The individual will participate in and provide clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows in the Calgary Zone. Participation in the academic goals and objectives of the Section and Department are expected.

Qualifications:

FRCSC Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Incumbent must be an active member of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a member in good standing.

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.

Must read, write and speak English.
