Job Description
Shared Health Manitoba and the Department of Pathology, University of Manitoba, invite applications for a permanent full-time Anatomical Pathology position with a focus on pediatric pathology.
Shared Health is the not-for-profit corporation responsible for all of Manitoba's public laboratory services. Shared Health is an independent, but publicly funded organization and is affiliated with the University of Manitoba.
Anatomical Pathologist – Pediatric Pathology
Required qualifications:
• Able to obtain licensure to practice as a pathologist in the Province of Manitoba through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
• Certification or eligibility to get certification with the Canadian Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Anatomical Pathology.
• Formal training, expertise or interest in Pediatric Pathology.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of surgical pathologists. Additional training, expertise or interest in pediatric pathology is required. Participation in departmental academic activities and training anatomical pathology residents and medical students from the University of Manitoba will be an expectation, as well as working in collaboration with other specialists in a multidisciplinary setting.
