The outreach financial incentive, at a minimum, requires one way travel greater than 50kms, and pays at $1/kms up to a maximum 500kms one way. Zonal Medical Affairs will calculate payments using a round-trip amount on a monthly basis. For approved outreach service requests AHS will remunerate mileage/car rentals/taxis, meals, flights and accommodation in keeping with the AHS Travel Policy.

Job Description
24 hour ED coverage, starting at 0800 hrs May 7th, through to 0800 May 12th (typical ED rotation for this site are 5, 10 and 15 consecutive days. We are open to splitting this time frame into two locums if you are interested in either two or three consecutive shifts. Preference will be given to those wanting the full five.)
In-patient component required (average census six)
Hospital accommodations will be provided. Fully furnished home, with all amenities. Including wifi for sole use. Physician is welcome to bring gues or family.
This ED sees approximately 10 to 15 patients per day.
ED is linked to Virtual Critical Care (HSN)
Travel expenses will be reimbursed as per the hospital policy (either mileage at 0.57/km, or car rental, airfare, airport parking / taxi to/from home/airport)
Remuneration is as follows:
ED AFA = $2,336.16 per 24 hr shift x 5 shifts = $11,680.80 (+ ED Shadow Billing, to be completed by hospital clerk, Physicians may also shadow bill for inpatient work with their own clerk)
