Fee for Service Through the Outreach and Travelling Physician Support Policy Visiting Specialists are eligible for monetary supports: The outreach financial incentive, at a minimum, requires one way travel greater than 50kms, and pays at $1/kms up to a maximum 500kms one way. Zonal Medical Affairs will calculate payments using a round-trip amount on a monthly basis. For approved outreach service requests AHS will remunerate mileage/car rentals/taxis, meals, flights and accommodation in keeping with the AHS Travel Policy.

Clinical Service Contract at 0.4 FTE (typically 672 hours/year); compensation scaled to FTE. Physician Master Agreement Full Scope range placement $290,842–$363,552 (subject to scope of services and facility-based coverage). Additional Rural Retention Program Premium 13.97%. Other incentives may apply; family physicians not required to contribute to overhead.

Fee-for-Service with a guaranteed shift minimum, rural premiums and availability payments through MOCAP; Facility-Based LFP may be an option.

Clinical Service Contract; eligible for RCME rural incentives: $1,320 for up to 2 years in Cranbrook, $3,520 during years 3–4, and $5,720 after 4 years, plus Doctors of BC CME funds (rural incentive rates subject to change).

Fee-for-Service; eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) remuneration — Retention Premium 14% and Retention Flat Fee $21,696; competitive compensation with a path to a stable Alternative Payment Plan (APP) contract.

Clinical Service Contract; eligible for RCME/Doctors of BC CME funds — RCME: $440 for up to 2 years in Trail; $2,640 during years 3–4; $4,840 after 4 years; REAP funding available for GP Oncology training; rural incentives apply (rates confirmed at time of offer).

LTC panels remunerated through the LFP model or fee-for-service; LTCI incentive payments including after-hours care program: $1,000 for weekday shifts and $1,400 for weekend shifts; sessional payments for mentorship activities, events, and quality improvement projects.
