Description:
Fetuga Medical Clinic is a newly established, modern primary care clinic in Steinbach, Manitoba, dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care to a growing community.

Consistent with the principles of primary health care, the Family Physician will provide comprehensive and continuous medical care to individuals and families across all ages. The physician will work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive clinic environment to deliver accessible, efficient, and compassionate care.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Delivery of comprehensive primary care services, including prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions
2. Health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education
3. Continuity of care, including follow-up and coordination with specialists and allied health services
4. Participation in clinic quality improvement initiatives and team-based care
5. Maintenance of accurate and timely medical records using EMR systems

Work Schedule:
Flexible scheduling available. Clinic hours are typically Monday to Friday, with optional evening or weekend shifts based on physician preference.

Qualifications:
Education and Training (Required):
• Completion of Family Medicine Residency
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
• Current registration and in good standing

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
• Experience in primary care or community-based practice preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using EMR systems

Assets:
• Interest in chronic disease management, mental health, women’s health, or walk-in medicine
• Experience in rural or semi-urban practice settings
• Additional certifications or special interests (e.g. minor procedures, women’s health, dermatology)

Compensation:
Competitive fee-for-service or alternative funding models available.
