Job Description
Button Health is a new family practice on Bay Street built for physicians who want continuity, autonomy, and patients who show up. Full roster on day one. We are hiring three physicians for a September 1, 2026 start.
The Opportunity
You walk into a full panel. We have a curated waitlist of unattached patients ready before your first day, and you select your panel from it during onboarding. No cold start, no inherited misalignment, no scrambling for volume.
Compensation and practice details are discussed at first interview.
How the Practice Runs
- Attached panel only. No walk-ins, no open access, no unscheduled volume from outside your roster.
- Online scheduling with digital intake captured before the patient arrives.
- AI scribe support during encounters.
- Patient portal for results, bookings, and routine follow-up.
- Billing managed by a dedicated third-party billing service, paid from the Button Health management split, not deducted from your earnings.
- Full administrative team handling scheduling, referrals, and rostering paperwork.
- Purpose-built clinical space in a professional medical building, downtown Toronto.
- FHO participation through an established local group. Standard transition with full administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Onboard unattached patients from a structured waitlist and lead patient selection during the panel-building period.
- Deliver comprehensive, continuity-based primary care to your attached FHO panel.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across all age groups, with a focus on prevention and long-term outcomes.
- Conduct complete assessments, develop care plans, order and interpret diagnostics.
- Maintain preventive care, cancer screening, and immunization completion across your panel.
- Follow up on results, referrals, and outstanding care items.
- Identify patients suitable for structured chronic disease, longevity, and lifestyle medicine programming within the network.
- Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation with Ai scribe support.
The Network and the Path Forward
Button Health is the entry practice in a network that includes:
The Mas Clinic Men's executive health. Small roster, complex cases, cardiovascular prevention and longevity medicine. Equity participation available.
Plunge Health Private-pay family medicine. Longitudinal patient relationships, sub-specialty development, leadership role within the network. Equity participation available.
Patient demand for both practices is active today. Founding cohort onboarding begins in Q4 2026. Physicians at Button Health work within these clinical frameworks from day one and are positioned for invitation to either practice based on panel quality, clinical metrics, and engagement with the network's preventive and longevity protocols.
This is not a tenure-based pathway. It is performance-based, near-term, and explicitly built into the network's growth plan.
What We Invest In You
Clinical protocols at Button Health are developed in partnership with US and Canadian specialists in integrated medicine, metabolic health, cardiovascular prevention, and longevity. Physicians here are expected to learn and apply these frameworks. CME and case-conference time is built into the week, not bolted on.
- Ongoing CME in chronic disease optimization, cardiovascular risk reduction, metabolic health, and longevity medicine.
- Men's health clinical programming aligned with the broader network.
- Advanced preventive care protocols developed across the practices.
- Direct access to clinical frameworks and case discussions with senior physicians in the network.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted CPSO Certificate of Registration for Independent Practice. ABFM board certification with a minimum of three years independent practice experience accepted (eligible for expedited CPSO registration).
- Active OHIP billing number, or immediate eligibility to obtain one. CPSO number or ABFM certification details required in your application.
- CCFP or ABFM certification.
- CMPA coverage.
- No sponsorship, bridging programs, credential assessment pathways, or supervised practice arrangements available.
Verification
Shortlisted candidates undergo independent third-party credential verification through ECFMG/EPIC, including primary-source verification of medical education credentials, hospital privileges history, and disciplinary records across every jurisdiction of past practice.
Any past or pending disciplinary action, license restriction, or malpractice settlement in any jurisdiction must be disclosed in the initial application. Non-disclosure is grounds for immediate termination of the application process.
Applications without a CPSO number or ABFM certification details are not reviewed.
