Practice Description:
Melfort is seeking a full-service Family Physician to join a dynamic group practice. The successful candidate will provide:
Outpatient clinic careIn-patient hospital coverageEmergency department services (rotational basis)Obstetrical care

Hospital & Clinical Resources
Hospital – a 31-bed facility providing acute and specialized services: Medicine, Obstetrics, Surgery, Outreach, Chemotherapy, High Acuity Unit, and EmergencyCT Scanner on-site with access to the Northeast Stroke CentreCollaborative team including a General Surgeon, Diabetic Nurse Educator, Mental Health Workers, Visiting Consultants, and Allied Health ServicesOn-site visiting specialists and surgical services

Hours of Work
Clinic: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pmOn-call coverage as scheduled

Relocation Package

NE Area Recruitment and Relocation incentive of $15,000.00 for 3 years return of service to new physicians willing to relocate to Melfort.

Job Qualifications

Requirements

The candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada.Successful applicants will be eligible for a provisional or regular license to practice in Saskatchewan with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license
