St. Joseph’s General Hospital Elliot Lake (SJGHEL) is seeking a Locum General Surgeon to provide temporary coverage and support our surgical services. Start Date: Flexible dates.
Practice Coverage includes: Five OR days per week - Five Clinic days per week.
On-Call: Two weeks a month.
Remuneration: 100% OHIP fee for service billings, HOCC stipend. Option to do surgical assistant call for additional experience/income. Will discuss overhead costs and anticipated monthly FFS billings with interviewed applicants
Requirements: FRCSC general surgery - CPSO licensure - Lodging within 20-minutes response time while on-call and provided free of charge for first year.
Favoured Assets: MEDITECH Expanse ONE electronic medical record system, training available.
