The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Alberta Health Services (AHS) Calgary Zone, the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary is actively recruiting for a generalist OB/GYN, situated at the Peter Lougheed Centre. All candidates must also have an interest in practicing obstetrics and providing prenatal care (inpatient and outpatient). The successful candidate would be expected to take an active role in the training of medical students and residents. They would also be expected to share in administrative responsibilities as needed at our site. The position is at the Peter Lougheed Centre and is a 0.5 FTE with 0.5 OB call and 1 OR a month to start, with potential to increase when/if additional time becomes available. Start date will be July 1, 2026. Candidates must have their FRCSC in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and preference will be given to a candidate with Royal College Subspecialty Certification. All candidates will be required to have clinical academic appointments with the Cumming School of Medicine University of Calgary.

Qualifications:

FRCSC Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Incumbent must be an active member of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a member in good standing.

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.

Must read, write and speak English.
