Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) is looking for a Radiologist to join our collaborative team!

Who We’re Looking For:

Physicians who have completed an ACGME- or RCPSC-accredited diagnostic radiology and qualify for Canadian Royal College Certification and registration with the College of Physician and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) in diagnostic imaging. Physicians who can diversify and possess a broad range of skills including ability to interpret:

• Breast
• MSK
• Interventional radiology (non-vascular) 

The Basics: Call, Payment and Schedule

• The schedule will be based on your availability and the Chief of Radiology will contact you with any coverage needs. Physicians will be scheduled for different modalities throughout the week and schedules are made as equitable as possible 
• Fee for service payment and call is eligible for HOCC payments made directly to the physician
• CKHA utilizes teleradiology services for evening/overnight, weekend and holiday call coverage
• Time off/vacation requests are accommodated as much as possible - we believe work/life balance is key!

The DI Department

We provide full PACS, ultrasound machines, 128 slice dual energy CT scanner, 32 slice Nuclear Medicine SPECT/CT, mammography unit, and a 1.5T MRI. CKHA also has a brand new Fluoroscopy suite and is looking to enhance the program’s resources. 

A Bit About CKHA:

CKHA is a 200-bed hospital located in Southwestern Ontario that offers a full range of medical and diagnostic services. CKHA has two sites, one in Chatham and a smaller site with an ER and 5 bed Medicine unit in Wallaceburg. Our services include:

• Surgical services: general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, and dental surgery.
• Over 14,000 surgical procedures (including endoscopy) annually
• OBGYN with approximately 850 deliveries annually 
• 12 bed closed level 3 ICU and a 12 step down unit with telemetry 
• TIA/CAD clinic with EKG, ECG, and Echo 
• Emergency Medicine services with approximately 40,000 visits per year in Chatham and 15,000 in Wallaceburg
• 5 bed stroke unit

CKHA is affiliated with Western University’s Distributed Education Network. The hospital has a strong relationship with referral hospitals in London and Windsor Ontario.
