Job Description

The Almonte General Hospital is seeking a Family Practice Anesthetist to locum or join our Anesthesia department. Almonte (Mississippi Mills) is a community of about 6000 people located 30 minutes west of Ottawa. The hospital has 52 beds and one main OR where we do plastic surgery (OHIP and cosmetic), general surgery, urology and gynecology.

We provide 24-hour epidural/C-section coverage for the Obstetrics program (about 400 deliveries per year) and support the ER when needed (IV sedation and airway management).

We are a congenial and supportive group. An option to work with the Family Health Team or in the ER is also available.
