Northern Health is seeking a Family Physician to join one other Family Physician in Hudson’s Hope, British Columbia. Serve a patient population of approximately 1200 in a beautiful Diagnostic and Treatment Centre that provides a turn-key operation and no overhead.

The Health Centre, which has Doctor’s office space and 2 exam rooms, offers a range of services including:
• 2 emergency room beds, which see an average of 800 ER visits per year
• Dental clinic with services from a dental hygienist
• Retail pharmacy
• Laboratory
• Support from a team of Health Care Professionals, including an onsite RN
• Visiting physiotherapists, dietitians, chiropractors, and mental health practitioners

Hudson’s Hope is located 85km from a state-of-the-art hospital in Fort St. John which includes specialists services, inpatient facilities and a 24-hour Emergency Department. A well-equipped and busy hospital with 24-hour Emergency Department is 65km away in Chetwynd.

There is an opportunity to provide additional services through outreach to surrounding First Nations communities to enhance your scope of practice and compensation.

Nearest Airport: Fort St John Regional Airport (90 km away) offers numerous daily flights to Vancouver and Calgary on Air Canada and WestJet.
