Job Description
The Barrie Community Health Centre is seeking full-time or part-time permanent Physicians to join our interprofessional team at our new site in North Barrie.
What you will do:
As a member of the Primary Care Team you will:
· Perform assessments, diagnosis, treatment, health education/counselling, and other medical functions as required according to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario standards of practice.
· Participate in the Centre’s on call service as directed.
· Contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of medical protocols and directives.
· Consult with interprofessional team members as required.
What you bring to the role:
· A Medical degree from a recognized university.
· CCFP Certification or equivalent practical experiences an asset.
· Member in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
· Three to five years of primary care experience; preferably in a community health setting.
· Strong computer skills including proficiency with electronic medical record and related systems.
