Radiologist
FULL-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE

The Opportunity
The Department of Diagnostic Imaging at PRHC is seeking a full-time General Radiologist for a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a special interest and/or demonstrated experience in cardiac CT. Our hybrid practice offers a mix of on-site and remote reporting.
Join our team of 16 Radiologists with general and interventional expertise including subspecialties in:
• Body Imaging
• Musculoskeletal imaging
• Neuro imaging
• Breast and Women’s imaging
• Vascular and Interventional Radiology
Practice Highlights
• Three (3) MRI scanners, five (5) CT scanners, three (3) Angiosuites - with planned expansion between all sites
• Full range of services, including; Ultrasound, Mammography, General Radiology, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine
• Overnight coverage provided by teleradiology, 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., year round
• Other subspecialties within the hospital include Interventional/General Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Urology, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Intensive Care, Respirology, and Nephrology
• High volume Oncology referral/ follow ups from the Central East Regional Cancer Program
Position Qualifications
· Fellowship status with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with certification in Diagnostic Radiology, or equivalent
· Eligibility for licensure in the Province of Ontario
· Valid OHIP billing number and billing privileges
· Evidence of ongoing continued medical education
· Eligible for staff privileges at Peterborough Regional Health Centre
Additional Expectations
• Proficiency in all major modalities, including Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, MRI
• Performance of minor procedures, including joint injections and thyroid biopsies
• Hospital coverage: PRHC, Ross Memorial Hospital, Campbellford Memorial Hospital and Haliburton Hospital (mix of remote and on-site coverage)
• Shared evening and weekend call coverage with separate diagnostic and interventional call services
