Job Description

We are urgently seeking ED physician coverage for the following*:


Mar 01: 0800-2000

Mar 04: 0800-2000

Mar 6: 0800-2000 & 2000-0800

Mar 7: 0800-2000


Each shift is being offered with a $75/hour star day rate, for a total of $3,330 per 12-hour shift.


Job Summary

The ED physician will see, on average, 55 patients per 24-hour shift.

The ED Physician will be responsible for:

-assessing all visits presenting to the Emergency Department during the shift

-the rare calls from Nursing Care Unit (NCU) and Complex Continuing Care (CCC) after 2300 hours until 0700 hours regarding patient care


Supports:


-(2) RNs

-(1) RPN

-second on-call physician for back-up if needed.  

-Physician Assistant from 0800-1600 on weekdays.
