Job Description:
Omega Medical Clinic Inc. is a modern, full-service family practice and walk-in clinic located in the northeast quadrant of Calgary. We are seeking qualified and motivated General Practitioners / Family Physicians to join our collaborative and patient-centered team.
The successful candidates will provide comprehensive primary care services in a high-demand area, supported by experienced administrative staff, Accuro EMR, and a well-equipped facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups and gender.
Provide preventive care, health promotion, and patient education
Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic investigations (laboratory, imaging, etc.)
Perform minor surgical and office-based procedures as appropriate
Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and complete electronic medical records using Accuro EMR
Participate in walk-in and booked appointments as scheduled
Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and clinic staff

Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
Education and Training:
Medical Degree: A medical degree from an accredited medical school recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
Residency Training: Completion of a residency training program in Family Medicine or General Practice, accredited by the appropriate authority in the candidate's country of training.
Certification:
Certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC): Preferred but not mandatory at the time of recruitment.
International Medical Graduates (IMGs): May be required to undergo additional assessments or training through CPSA-approved pathways such as the Practice Readiness Assessment (PRA-AB) or Provisional Register.
Licensure Exams:
Successful completion of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) Part I and Part II or the equivalent exams recognized by the CPSA.
