Job Description


We are seeking qualified physicians and nurse practitioners to provide Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) services across Saskatchewan. This role involves conducting eligibility assessments and/or providing MAID in accordance with federal legislation and provincial standards. MAID services are delivered through a coordinated Saskatchewan Health Authority model, supporting equitable, patient-centered end-of-life care across urban, rural, and remote communities.

Location of practice: Providers may be based anywhere in Saskatchewan.

Specialty Type: Specialist - Other

Qualifications:

•Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), or eligible for licensure in Saskatchewan•Completion of MAID-specific education/training, or willingness to complete prior to participation•Must have or be willing to obtain CPSS scope of practice authorization and SHA privileges for Medical Assistance in Dying•Demonstrated commitment to ethical, patient-centered care•Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
