Hello!

I am looking for a maternity leave locum for my FHO practice.

Location: Don Mills FHT #200, 20 Wynford Drive, Toronto M3C 1J4 (Don Mills & Eglinton)

Start date:   end of September 2026

Duration:      12 months (flexible, partial coverage can be split between locums)

Coverage:      6 half days (3h)/week (in-person and telephone appointments)

Practice:        900 patients. Full-scope, newborn to geriatrics

EMR:               Accuro, with Ocean e-referral & e-prescribe

AI Scribe:      Used by many in our office. You are welcome to use your own subscription.

Collegial Team: 

·      7 other family physicians

·      4 nurse practitioners (have their own rosters, but also can see FHO physician patients to help improve access)

·      4 registered nurses (vitals, vaccines, immunization forms, relaying results, Rourke, etc.)

·      6 full-time & 1 part-time administrative assistants

·      2 social workers & a GP psychotherapist

·      Occupational therapist (cognitive & mobility assessments, WheelTrans/Accessible Parking Permit/other OT relevant sections on forms)

·      Dietician (pediatric and adult)

·      Patient navigator (assists with referrals and accessing community resources)

·      Billing accountant, IT support and Clinic manager

Office:

·      Free parking for staff/locum

·      Pharmacy, Life Labs, Imaging lab, Foot care clinic, Optometrist/Dental on site

·      Specialists: Cardiology, Rheumatology, Plastics, Ophthalmology on site

Compensation:

·      $500/half day minimum inclusive of FHO+ hourly direct patient care billing.

·      FHO+ hourly indirect patient care billing (charting, referrals, inbox).

·      78% of FFS/shadow billing and 3rd party billing.
