Job Description

The Weston FHO is a collegial seven physician group working with Crosstown FHT with an opportunity for a full time or part time family physician to join as a FHO associate.

- RNs, PAs, social worker, dietitian, chiropractor on site.

- Clinic is situated in an area of high need with large number of community members seeking a family doctor.

- Flexible schedule, clinic wide weekend coverage already in place.

- Income stabilization available for qualifying candidates.

- Teaching opportunities available with academic partner Toronto Metropolitan University.

- Avaros EMR with online appointment booking and secure messaging portal options.

- No management fees. Costs are split evenly between FHO members.

- Opportunity to join ownership group and develop leadership experience on board of FHT.

- Recently renovated accessible space located near the new Crosstown LRT Eglinton line.

- Upcoming development of custom built office space adjacent to existing space also available.

- Locum options available at market rates (negotiable from $150/hr)

Responsibilites

- Attend to wide range of family medicine patients in timely fashion.

- Provide direction and support to FHT staff for community health outreach programs.

- Provide after hours care for one contiguous 3 hour block per week.

- Attend monthly FHO meetings to oversee clinic initiatives and provide direction to staff

Requirements

- License to practice family medicine in Ontario.

- Membership in good standing with CPSO.

- Adequate malpractice insurance with CMPA or private insurer.
