Job Description

Locum Opportunity – FHO Locum

Baywest Medical Center

Location: 360 Bayly Street West, Ajax, Ontario, L1S 1P1

Dates: April 20th 2026 to September 20th 2026 (flexible)

Contract term: 5 months


Coverage Requirements:

● 4 half-days per week (clinic/inbox/paperwork) + ONE day of after hour clinic/week (3 hour coverage 5-8pm) required

● ONE Saturday/month coverage required (3 hours: 10-1PM)

● weekly Inbox coverage required


Must be in good standing with CPSO


Roster size is small to medium ~1000-1200 patients)


Remuneration:

● $500/ half-day (clinic/paperwork/inbox) + 100% third party/private billings + 100% shadow billings.

(Remuneration subject to change based on new FHO+ model and upcoming changes)


Clinic Details:

● EMR: TELUS CHR (remote access available)

● Team includes 6 family physicians and a dermatology clinic

● Triage assistant available (performs vitals, prepares vaccines – you will need to specify

which vaccines are required)

● On-site pharmacy and lab technician/blood work services

● Free parking available


Billing: Billing is managed by clinic manager
