The Division of Neurosurgery, Department of Surgery at the
University of Saskatchewan and
Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is actively recruiting a full time clinical academic Neurosurgeon with fellowship training in complex spine surgery.
The position is based in Regina, serving patients through the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s Regina Area hospitals, including Regina General Hospital (RGH) and Pasqua Hospital (PH). Regina provides tertiary neurosurgical and spine services for southern Saskatchewan. The successful applicant will join an experienced team of neurosurgeons who provide comprehensive cranial and spine care to a population of approximately 500,000 people across the region.
The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the Divisions of Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery, along with multidisciplinary teams involved in acute care, trauma, rehabilitation, and outpatient services. The individual will be required to provide excellence in patient care, teaching, and research. Clinical or translational research interests are supported through the Saskatchewan Health Authority and partnerships with the University of Saskatchewan. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The successful applicant will also participate in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, including teaching responsibilities within the University of Saskatchewan’s Regina Campus.

Qualifications:
Qualifications/Requirements of the position – Candidates in consideration will hold
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) certification in Neurosurgery and be eligible for and educational and independent licensure with the
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).
