Job Description
This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services.

Job Description:
Examine patients' health condition to identify diseases and injuries. Help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits and reshape their approach to wellness. Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment. Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health. Prescribe and administer medications and treatments. Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
Licensed or Eligible for license by College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Good standing with regulatory authorities when previously practiced.
Ability to interact and collaborate respectfully with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
