Part-time, 6-12-Month Locum Opportunity within a Large Group Practice

A large 20-physician group practice on the Hamilton Mountain has several locum opportunities ranging from 3-5 half days per week starting July 2026. The ideal candidate will be available July 2026-June 2027, but a candidate with 6-month availability would also be welcomed. Successful candidates can expect to see 15-20 patients/day and candidates with an interest in resident education and experience in resident supervision would be an asset. There is the option of combining different opportunities together for candidates wishing an opportunity beyond 5 half days.

As part of a Family health Team, the practice receives support from an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including a nurse practitioner as well as a dietitian, clinical pharmacist, systems navigator, physical therapist, occupational therapist, social workers, among others. The practice also receives extensive support from a practice manager as well as a large team of administrative staff including receptionists, medical office assistants, a bookkeeper, and billing support.

The practice uses OSCAR EMR and each physician has access to 1-2 exam rooms and a workstation. Parking is free for staff at this location and the building also includes both staff and patient washrooms.

The locum can expect to receive a salaried pay structure, which includes paid vacation.
