Job Description:
Greenstone Medical Centre is seeking two Pediatricians to join our growing outpatient multidisciplinary clinic in Sherwood Park, Alberta, within the Edmonton Zone.
The successful candidates will provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric consultations, developmental assessments, preventative care, and longitudinal follow-up for infants, children, and adolescents. The practice will focus on community-based pediatric services and collaboration with family physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Greenstone Medical Centre is a modern physician-led clinic offering fully equipped examination rooms, EMR support, administrative staff, and opportunities to develop specialized outpatient pediatric services.
Responsibilities include:
• Assessment and management of pediatric medical conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Consultation services for referred patients from family physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions including asthma, allergies, ADHD, obesity, developmental concerns, and other complex pediatric disorders
• Newborn, infant, child, and adolescent health assessments.
• Preventive care, immunization counselling, and health promotion.
• Collaboration with family physicians and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintenance of accurate and timely medical records.
This position does not require inpatient responsibilities and is focused on outpatient community-based Pediatric practice.
Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Certification in Pediatrics or eligibility for certification through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Demonstrated clinical competence in Pediatrics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care.
Experience in outpatient and community-based pediatric practice is considered an asset.
CMPA membership or eligibility for professional liability coverage.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
