Job Description:

An established outpatient clinic in Leduc, Alberta is seeking a Psychiatrist with an interest in Addiction Medicine to join our growing healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians looking for a flexible, well-supported clinical environment while making a meaningful impact in the treatment of substance use disorders and mental health conditions.
Physicians will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinic providing care to individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical and psychiatric assessments for patients with substance use disorders
- Diagnose and treat addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor medications, including opioid agonist therapy (OAT) when appropriate
- Provide follow-up care and ongoing patient management
- Collaborate with clinic staff including counselors, nurses, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation

Qualifications:

• Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA

• Psychiatrist eligible for licensure in Alberta

• Experience or interest in Addiction Medicine

• Strong clinical and communication skills
