Position: Psychiatrist Reports to: Manager of Mental Health Services Location: Blend of in-office and virtual Job Status: Permanent, Part-time (approximately 5 days per month) Renumeration: $35,000.00 annually in sessional fees in combination with OHIP billing About Lanark County Mental Health: Lanark County Mental Health (LCMH) is a dynamic community-based organization dedicated to supporting individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges within Lanark County. About the Position: We are currently seeking a dedicated part-time Psychiatrist to be a valuable addition to our multidisciplinary team, which consists of a Nurse Practitioner, Community Mental Health Nurse, and administrative staff. In this vital role, you will take on the responsibility of assessing, stabilizing, and treating clients who are experiencing acute mental health issues. Your expertise and commitment will be essential in providing comprehensive care to those in need, contributing to their journey towards recovery and making a significant impact in our community. Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, while also contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of our mental health services. Qualifications: • Must possess an M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) degree from a recognized medical school. • Valid Ontario CPSO license and be a trained psychiatrist with FRCPC or equivalent.
