Pooled billing model with competitive hourly earnings and predictable income

Alternative Payment Arrangement; conservative base remuneration for a full-time Anesthetist approx. $500,000 (1.0 FTE = 1997 hours/year); may be eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (Retention Premium 12.6%, Retention Flat Fee n/a).

Blended model: fee-for-service (FFS) billing plus FPSC Stabilizing/Bridging and grant funding (through PNW Divisions of Family Practice); may be eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement incentives including a 24.5% retention premium. Travel, accommodation and car rental covered for locum assignments.

Fee-for-Service; may be eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including a 12.60% retention premium

Remuneration for this position is based on the Academic medicine & Health Services Program (AMHSP). Salary will be commensurate with education and experience and ranges based on a number of different factors; the mean is $349,009.92 per year. Total compensation for AMHSP varies by individual practitioner, and the compensation shown reflects the average amounts for this specialty as reported by Alberta Health.

Remuneration will be based on Fee for Service (FFS) schedule.

The average gross income of a Family Medicine Physician in Alberta is $380,522. Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends.
